Roles and Responsibilities
- Required Technical Skills:
- Strong hands‑on experience in Informatica (PowerCenter or similar ETL tools)
- Strong experience in Big Data technologies (Hive, Hadoop ecosystem)
- Deep expertise in UNIX/Linux and shell scripting
- Extensive experience in production support / data platform support environments
- Expertise in troubleshooting ETL failures, data pipeline issues, Hive/Hadoop job failures
- Strong knowledge of batch processing, job scheduling, and dependency management
- Strong SQL/HiveQL skills for data analysis and issue resolution
- Experience with incident management tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA, etc.)
- Strong understanding of SLA management, escalation handling, and support reporting
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization in Big Data environments
