The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Project Controls Division, seeks a Design and Construction Innovation Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advancing DDC’s virtual design and construction practice and the use of innovative technologies in DDC’s design and construction planning and administration to improve cost and schedule performance. The candidate will act as construction technologist staying abreast of industry trends by researching innovative technologies for construction projects and help develop related policies and procedures. The candidate will provide advisory support to stakeholder engagements across the Agency and provide analysis, recommendations, and presentations on how innovative technology can be utilized for saving cost and increasing speed of project delivery.
