Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a highly respected medical center in Madison, WI, on a full-time basis.
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts
- Shifts: Mix of days (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) and evenings (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
- Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
- Type: Full-Time | 13-Week Contract-to-Hire
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities:
- Perform inpatient order verification
- Complete pharmacokinetic and renal dosing consultations
- Monitor therapeutic drug levels and pharmacotherapy regimens
- Assist with drug shortage management initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to optimize patient care
Requirements
- Wisconsin Pharmacist license (ACT-10 temp license accepted)!
- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient experience
- Strong clinical skills in acute care pharmacotherapy
