General Summary
Routine inspection and classification of semi-finished and finished products as per specified standards/related specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)
- In Line Inspection at Mills
- Inline inspection and classification of the rolled product as per standard.
- Report non conformities immediately to the mills for corrective action to minimize production of non-confirming product.
- Shall be responsible for performing all inspection functions, identification and segregation of Nonconforming items, as specified in the Emirates Steel QS Program to ensure compliance to applicable Standards, ASME Code and Customer requirements.
- Sampling
- Provide samples at specified frequency for testing as per specification.
- Inspect components or assemblies and perform final checks on completed products, if required.
