Job Description
**Overview**
INSTALLER - JOURNEYMAN (RDTE)
Bowhead is seeking an Installer - Journeyman to join our team in Dahlgren, VA. the Installer will provide physical telecommunications installation support for the Corporate Network Design, Engineering and Installation (DE&I) group. The Installer will perform installation, termination, labeling and testing of optical fiber and twisted pair cables for voice, video and data through cable trays and conduits at both ends (patch panels and blocks).
**Responsibilities**
+ Performs fusion splicing and cable terminations using 3M Hot Melts and Corning UniCam Fiber Optic Connectors.
+ Provides assistance in building telecommunication rooms while adhering to applicable standards and specifications
+ Performs testing and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems which include Entrance Facilities, Equipment Rooms, Backbone Cabling, Telecommunications Room, Horizontal Cabling and Work Area's<...
