Position Summary
The School of Criminal Justice (SCJ) at Michigan State University invites applications for up to two 9-month fixed-term teaching positions in our baccalaureate and master’s degree programs at the Assistant Professor rank beginning August 16, 2024. The position is for one academic year, with the strong possibility of renewal based on performance. Michigan State University is the pioneer land-grant institution located in East Lansing, Michigan. The SCJ is a national leader in criminal justice and criminology research and education. Housed in the College of Social Science, the SCJ has 23 faculty members, including several with joint appointments in academic units and centers across the university. Currently, there are over 1,200 students enrolled in the SCJ’s doctoral, masters, and baccalaureate degree programs.
