Master’s degree in law, master’s degree in economics, law and business, or equivalent degree with good to excellent study results

An interest in insolvency law and/or the economic analysis of law

Ability to integrate into the existing research group and educational team, and to complete a PhD within four years

Good command of English; good knowledge of Dutch is an asset

You will have the chance to conduct research in the broad domain of business law, preferably with a focus on 

insolvency law in the broad sense (enforcement, security interests, guarantees, bankruptcy, reorganisation);

legal aspects of corporate finance; or 

economic analysis of law.
