Occupational Summary

Craven Community College’s Volt Center is seeking an instructor for the Forest Worker credential program. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about forestry and committed to preparing students for successful careers in the industry. As an instructor, you will share your knowledge, demonstrate hands-on techniques, and inspire students to develop the skills and confidence needed for entry-level forestry employment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Instruct, guide, and support students in achieving both technical job skills and professional workplace skills related to forestry.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
  • Prepare, develop, and deliver course materials and activities with the direction and approval of the Program Coordinator.
