Job Description:
The Center for International Studies at Ohio University seeks to fill temporary, part-time positions of Instructor of International Studies. Applicants may apply to teach one or multiple courses.
Potential courses include undergraduate survey courses such as Introduction to African Studies ( INST 1100), Introduction to European Studies ( INST 1400) and Introduction to Latin American Studies ( INST 1600) as well as upper division capstone courses such Global Problems, Local Solutions ( INST 4960) and War and Peace Capstone ( INST 4950) – among others. These are all interdisciplinary courses.
The courses must be taught in person on the Athens campus. On-campus instruction requires three hours in-class instruction per class per week and an additional hour per week for office hours.
