Basic Function And Scope (summary)

Instructor pilot reports directly to his/her line manager or Chief pilot. The Instructor Pilot conducts scheduled or immediate helicopter transport operations. The Instructor Pilot possesses the experience and competence level to provide safe worldwide helicopter transport operations; complies with and is knowledgeable of the host‑nation regulations. Mission profiles include single/dual pilot operations ranging from NVG flight, ship deck landings, multi‑aircraft formation flight (similar or dissimilar in type) in different environmental conditions. The Instructor Pilot performs his/her duties during day/night/instrument flight rules/overwater/mountainous and desert type terrain to improved or unimproved landing sites.
