Overview
An established reinsurance broker seeks a Processing Manager to oversee technical operations and bring functions in-house.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and efficient handling of technical and administrative aspects of reinsurance processes.
- Manage documentation related to reinsurance contracts, including slips, endorsements, and bordereaux.
- Process and reconcile premiums and claims payments between brokers, insurers, and reinsurers.
- Maintain liaison with brokers, underwriters, clients, and reinsurers to resolve queries and ensure smooth communication.
- Hire and train additional team members in the short to medium term.
Qualifications
- Solid experience with insurance/reinsurance systems (e.g. XChanging, PPL, IBS, etc.).
- Prior experience within support or technical teams in a reinsurance or insurance brokerage.
