Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall ILS strategy for defence programs
- Prepare and manage the ILS Plan (ILSP)
- Ensure compliance with customer ILS requirements, standards, and contractual obligations
- Define lifecycle support concepts from development to end-of-life disposal
- Establish maintenance philosophy and support concepts (Organisational, Intermediate, Depot level maintenance)
- Participate in design reviews to ensure supportability is built into the product from the beginning
- Perform RAM analysis for systems and subsystems
- Calculate and manage MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure)
- Calculate and manage MTTF (Mean Time To Failure)
- Calculate and manage Availability (Ao / Ai)
