Job Description

As an Intelligence Analyst (Signals), you’ll have the ability to impact real world events in your day-to-day role. Working with the latest electronic warfare technology, you’ll turn electronic code and radar signals into tactically advantageous intelligence for the Air Force.

What you’ll do

Drawing on highly classified material and advanced software, you’ll use specialised skills to reverse engineer complex signals and give the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and allied partners the information they need.

This sensitive and challenging field incorporates both Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) and Technical Signals (TECHSIGS) Analysis. ELINT is the analysis of non-communications emissions such as radars, and TECHSIGS is the analysis of machine-generated communications.

Your day-to-day tasks could include:
