Job Description
We are working in partnership with an NHS organisation to recruit an experienced Band 7 CBT Therapist to support and join a specialist Sexual Assault Recovery Service. This is a highly specialist role delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions to individuals who have experienced sexual assault, within a collaborative, multi-agency service.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver high-intensity psychological interventions, primarily trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT)
· Provide EMDR interventions (if trained and appropriately accredited)
· Manage a caseload of clients with complex trauma presentations, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care
· Conduct detailed clinical assessments, formulation and treatment planning
· Work as part of a multi-agency service, including NHS, VCSE partners and criminal justice stakeholders
· Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, including use of interpreters where required
