VAT Accountant European Jurisdictions 3 month contract Fryer Miles London, UK Office-based, 5 days per week Fryer Miles are delighted to be partnering with a well-established global business operating across food, beverage, and energy supply chains in the search for a VAT Accountant to support the clearance of a backlog of historic VAT returns across multiple European jurisdictions. This is a delivery-focused, hands-on role where you'll work closely with European VAT fiscal advisers and an in-house finance team to progress filings within a tight timeframe. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and submitting VAT returns across multiple European jurisdictions Working through historic VAT data methodically and accurately Reconciling VAT balance sheet accounts and preparing supporting journals Liaising with external fiscal advisers to ensure timely and compliant submissions Flagging any discrepancies or issues to the in-house finance team We're keen to speak with candidates who:...
