About the Role
Teach at Nova Pioneer Boksburg Primary School as an Intermediate Math teacher (grades 5–7) starting September 2026. Lead instruction and planning for the subject‑ or grade‑level classroom, driving a rigorous enquiry‑based learning environment. Resident teachers are supported by Deans of Instruction and mentor apprentice teachers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with learning designers to design impactful lessons.
- Design and deliver engaging enquiry‑based lessons supported by technology.
- Observe, coach and model teaching for apprentice teachers.
- Infuse joy and passion for learning into lessons to keep students invested.
- Set and communicate rigorous goals for all students and provide feedback.
- Conduct ongoing assessment of student progress and adjust instruction.
