Intern, Merchandising Data Analytics & Demand Planning (6-Month Internship)

Purpose of Role

The Merchandise and Demand Planning Intern will gain hands‑on experience in order management, master data maintenance, shipment tracking, demand forecasting, and sample management. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations while gaining exposure to strategic planning processes within a fast‑paced retail environment.

Responsibilities Order & Tracking Management
  • Assist in creating, reviewing, and validating sales orders to ensure accuracy regarding quantities, pricing, and delivery dates.
  • Monitor shipment statuses (ETAs and delays) and proactively update internal teams.
  • Update order statuses and amendments in the shared “buy file” to reflect real‑time progress.
  • Support reporting on KPIs such as on‑time delivery rates, drops, and the root causes of delays or cancellations.
