Job Description
Summary About the Position: Serves as expert strategic advisor and action officer for the U/C/J5 of United Nations Command, Combined Forces Command, and US Forces Korea. Leads command coordination efforts with other experts on staff, in the US interagency, Republic of Korea Ministry of National Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff, and collaborates with UNC sending state representatives as well as US and foreign research institutions. Responsibilities Through extensive research and liaison activities, monitors significant political and military developments in the ROK, DPRK, China, Japan, Russia, and international organizations. Coordinates and executes product dissemination to include dissemination on multiple systems on multiple classification levels throughout various commands, agencies, and internationally. Coordinates, collaborates, and negotiates on behalf of the US Command with USG agencies, OSD-P, US Joint Staff J5, and US PACOM, ROK Ministry of Defense, and ROK JCS. Responds to q...
