We have an exciting opportunity for a International Tax Apprentice to join our Partners' Affairs and Taxes (PAT) Team , based in A&O Shearman's Belfast Office.
PAT team - Belfast
The International Tax Team, which is part of the Partners' Affairs and Tax (PAT) Team, is responsible for oversight of the firm's tax risk and policies and global tax compliance.
The Apprenticeship
As an International Tax Apprentice within the PAT team, you will play a key role in our work needed to meet tax compliance obligations set by tax authorities globally, including income taxes, corporation taxes, VAT and payroll taxes. In this role, you will have responsibilities for specific territories, including building and coordinating relationships with local Finance teams and external tax advisors to ensure that tax issues that are relevant for these territories are dealt with on a timely basis.
