About Patient Advocacy & Support Office (PASO)
The Patient Advocacy & Support Office (PASO) works to shape care together with patients, carers, and the community.
We champion person- and family-centred care across NUHS, and partner with patients, carers, and families to ensure their lived experiences inform service design, quality improvement, and healthcare delivery. We do this through activating communities, building capabilities, and catalysing cultural shift across the system.
Our work spans three key areas:
- Patient Experience – ensuring care is compassionate, responsive and coordinated across NUHS institutions
- Patient Advocacy – engaging patients, carers and families as partners in shaping care
- Carer Advocacy – recognising and supporting carers as key contributors in the healthcare journey
