- Maintaining accurate records of all parts, including incoming and outgoing parts, and ensuring proper storage and organization of parts.
- Monitoring current inventory levels, identifying discrepancies, and reporting low stock or potential shortages to supervisors.
- Assisting with physical counts of parts to verify accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
- Accurately recording parts data, preparing reports on stock levels, and identifying any issues or trends.
- Communicating with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and any issues with stock.
- Ensuring storage area is kept tidy and well-organized for efficient operations.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies in inventory records or physical parts.
- Issuing part to engineer for repairing job
- Updating of used part returned from engineer
