Job Description
Job Summary:
Conduct accurate physical inventory counts at various retail store locations.
Responsibilities:
- Verify on-hand stock levels by counting, scanning, and recording merchandise.
- Compare physical counts with system records to identify discrepancies.
- Investigate and document inventory variances, shortages, and overages.
- Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and organization of stock during counting activities.
- Follow standardized inventory procedures and company counting guidelines.
- Prepare and submit detailed inventory reports after each store visit.
- Assist in implementing loss prevention measures related to inventory accuracy.
- Maintain inventory equipment such as scanners, tablets, and counting tools.
- Support cycle counts, audits, and special counting projects as needed.
