Inventory Clerk: Stock Accuracy & Audits

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory record using Store inventory system (POS).
• Conduct regular stock counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy.
• Receive, release and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring quality and quantity match order specifications.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring products are easily accessible and properly labelled.
• Assist in the preparation of inventory reports and forecasts.
• Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to anticipate inventory needs and trends.
• Process inventory discrepancies, including investigating and resolving issues.
• Implement and follow company policies and procedures regarding inventory management.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
