Job Description
Descripción y detalle de las actividades- Analyze inventory data and trends to identify excess inventory at all levels (raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods), and recommend strategies to reduce excess and improve inventory turnover.
- Implement inventory reduction strategies by optimizing inventory targets, replenishment parameters (Min/Max, ROP, etc.), and enhancing demand planning and forecasting to avoid overstocking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams - finance, engineering, production, planning and procurement - to optimize purchase decisions, production schedules, and inventory management practices to align with company goals for reducing inventory.
- Monitor inventory levels and assess the risk of expiration and obsolescence by taking proactive steps to minimize inventory write-offs.
- Maintain Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) reports, detailing actions required for each SKU and ensuring that the execution plan aligns with business targets.
