Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support all aspects of material movement, including receiving, distribution, and storage of goods. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory records, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring timely communication with purchasing and logistics departments. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, forklift experience, and proficiency in warehouse systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Verify and record incoming shipments; check for damage and accuracy against packing slips.
- Store materials using an automated inventory management system (QAD).
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
