Overview
Position: Stock Controller/Administrator
Location: Gauteng (Northriding)
Reporting to: Nursery Manager
Job Purpose
Responsible for the correct storing, movement and stock take of goods / consumable and product inventory according to company procedures.
Duties
- Regularly check and maintain stock levels to ensure they meet business needs.
- Place orders to replenish stock as needed and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, purchases, and pricing.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Liaise with suppliers to manage orders, negotiate deals, and resolve any issues with deliveries.
- Implement and improve inventory management processes and procedures.
- Compile and present reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and other relevant metrics.
- Compile month-end finance reports
