Key Responsibilities:
- Support accounting for inventory consumption during operations on ships and transfers between locations, including warehouses.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes, including accurate reporting of inventory and reserve balances.
- Perform variance analysis and explain material differences.
- Prepare journal entries related to:
- Inventory consumption and adjustments upon voyage completion
- Inventory activity in warehouses
- Monthly accruals, cleanup, and reclassification entries
