A leading asset management firm is seeking a highly quantitative Investment Analyst to join their team in Cape Town. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with a UK-based Investment Strategist and Portfolio Manager to drive the firm’s strategic investment and portfolio construction processes. The successful candidate will progressively take ownership of core research, modelling, and asset allocation responsibilities as they demonstrate competence within the role.
Responsibilities
- Asset Valuation & Research: Building and enhancing valuation models for various asset classes and conducting research on macroeconomic themes to produce structured insights for investment decisions.
- Portfolio Construction: Developing and refining strategic benchmarks, model portfolios, and optimization tools to support tactical and strategic asset allocation decisions.
