Job Description
Qualifications:
- Reliable, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems independently. Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the installation, repair, and maintenance of a wide variety of electrical motors, pumps, and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to make inspections to determine operating conditions and needed repairs for pumping equipment.
- Ability to work from blueprints, pencil sketches, or written and oral instructions.
- Ability to use a variety of mechanic's tools and shop equipment in the installation, repair, and maintenance of pump station equipment.
- Knowledge of 240/480 AC/DC control systems.
- Ability to read for comprehension.
- Ability to interpret and utilize a SCADA system.
