IT Field Engineer required. My client is a successful IT firm based in Eastleigh. They were established in 2005, and have around 300 customers across a variety of industries therefore the right candidate will gain experience, and knowledge in developing professional relationships with lots of people! 

They are now looking for an experienced technician to join their team in a roughly 50% field based, 50% service desk position based heavily on networking. 

Position Overview 

  • Working on IT Support tickets within their ticketing system

  • Working collaboratively as part of the service desk team to rectify issues/plan resolutions

  • Contracting customers and working on IT issues remotely

  • Traveling to customer sites to work on issues unable to be resolved remotely

  • Installing computers, network equipment and other IT hardware at customer sites
