IT Infrastructure Engineer

The Role

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and stabilising critical infrastructure systems that support complex maritime and defence programmes.

Day-to-day, you’ll be working hands-on across server and virtualisation environments, helping to stabilise existing infrastructure while contributing to the design and build of next-generation systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting and delivering server and virtualisation infrastructure solutions across key projects

Migrating and optimising environments into VMware-based virtual stacks

Collaborating with network engineers to stabilise and improve infrastructure environments

Building, configuring and integrating systems across physical and virtual platforms

Producing technical documentation, test plans and implementation artefacts
