IT Security Officer – 12 months contract

Our client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking an IT Security Officer to support a public sector technology project on a 12‑month contract.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as IT Security Officer or in cybersecurity functions such as vulnerability management, attack surface management, or IT risk.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, patch management, CVSS frameworks, and attack surface risks
• Hands-on experience with ASM or vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Censys)
• Proficiency in Python programming for automation and analysis tasks
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to translate technical findings into actionable guidance
