Insight Global is seeking a Field Support / Desktop Support Technician to serve as the on‑site IT presence at a steel manufacturing facility. This individual will support end users with hardware, software, and basic infrastructure issues, partner with remote IT teams and vendors, and take ownership of all site‑level IT needs. Responsibilities include troubleshooting desktops and peripherals, supporting AV and conference rooms, installing and maintaining software and security tools, maintaining IT inventory, and assisting nearby satellite sites as needed. Success in this role depends heavily on strong people skills, adaptability, and a service‑oriented mindset.
