Job Description

RINA is currently recruiting for a Italy Electrical Plan Approval Engineer to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Mediterranean and Africa Marine Division.​

Mission

This role focuses on plans and documents reviews related to electrical and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with the applicable standards.

Key Accountabilities

  • Review and approve drawings of electrical, automation systems, including autonomous ship technology and cyber security, for newbuilding, conversions and ship in service.

  • Marine equipment documents verification, in compliance with Class Rules and Statutory Regulations.

  • Carry out the approval of ship’s systems plans and certification according to Class Rules and Statutory Regulations.

  • Support for type approval certifications according to tasks arrangement by the Manager.
