Janitor – Burlington County Shelter

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking a reliable Janitor to support cleanliness, sanitation, and facility presentation at our Burlington County Shelter. Reporting to the Social Worker, this hands-on role helps maintain a safe, healthy environment for clients and staff through daily cleaning, restroom sanitation, trash handling, and basic supply/stock awareness.
What You’ll Do:
+ Maintain daily cleanliness and sanitation of the building interior and ensure exterior areas remain presentable
+ Empty trash cans daily and ensure trash is properly discarded so the dumpster area stays sanitary and orderly
+ Sanitize trash cans and change liners weekly (or as needed)
