Key position functions include:
Ensure processes and machine operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner.Operate machines by setting up and adjusting three and four-jaw chucks (where applicable,) tools, attachments, collets, bushings, gears, stops and indicating devices.Calculate requirements, using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry for practical problems such as computing dimensions, laying out work, and setting up machine tools.Maintain specifications by monitoring the drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; adjusting controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools.Maintain machines, equipment and workstations to an acceptable Stream-Flo s...
