Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand job requirements.
- Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall to ensure they are level and compatible.
- Carve and assemble cabinets, shelves, and other items as required, and install them as designated.
- Take precise measurements to calculate the size and amount of the materials needed.
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
- Cut, shape and smooth lumber, fiberglass, and other material according to measurements.
- Adhere to and enforce safety requirements.
