Journeyperson Electrician


This is a great opportunity for a safety-minded, motivated Journeyperson Electrician to begin their career in steel manufacturing. The successful individual will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs to electrical components within the plant facility. The successful individual will be required to work in a team environment utilizing their capabilities, experience, and training to the full extent with a focus on ensuring all equipment is maintained to a high degree of predictable reliability.

Responsibilities

  • PLC's (wiring, instrumentation, control, bypasses)

  • Overhead cranes (static stepless)

  • Instrumentation (RTD's, TC's, flowmeters, etc.)

  • High Voltage (34.9KV and 4160V including switching, insulators, Joslyn switches, controls)

  • Troubleshooting (process control, AC/DC, low voltage, high voltage, PLC's)

  • Preventative maintenance, rebuilds...
