Job Summary
We are seeking a Journeyperson Welder to join our team. The Journeyperson Welder reports to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for providing repairs, overhauls, and new builds to mining‑related equipment. This position is based in Geraldton, Ontario on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assemblies, preventative maintenance, repairs, and complete overhauls on heavy mining equipment according to schedule.
- Make recommendations regarding the extent of repairs and suggest methods of improvement.
- Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
- Complete job‑specific reports and paperwork.
- Maintain a robust awareness and attitude toward workplace health and safety, and follow all rules and legislation.
