- Perform specimen receipt/ rejection according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform proper transportation, handling, storage of specimens.
- Process specimens and/or perform laboratory tests according to Operation Guidelines (OPG).
- Perform basic troubleshooting of analyser/ equipment malfunction.
- Perform appropriate QC/ calibration.
- Attend to request for information (e.g. specimen information, laboratory results) and/or material (e.g. blood tubes, slides, blocks).
- Minimum Diploma in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Good attending skills, typing and computer skills. Possess a non judgmental attitude.
