Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the finance team in day-to-day accounting operations. The successful candidate will assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and will gain exposure to the full accounting lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records: post day-to-day entries (invoices, receipts, journals) into the accounting system.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable: process vendor invoices, match purchase orders/GRNs, send customer invoices, monitor aging.
- Perform bank and credit-card reconciliations on a regular basis; support cash flow tracking and petty-cash management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes: prepare supporting schedules, reconcile sub-ledgers to general ledger.
