As a **Full Time,** **Junior level Benefits Specialist** , you will answer incoming calls and emails from customers about administrative actions, including educating and advising callers on their military benefits and resources available to them and their families.
**This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer an active NACI**
**_This position is 100% Remote in the National Capital Region_**
**In this role, you will:**
+ Identify and coordinate advocacy on behalf of Veterans, Active and reserve service members, or their Family members in a particular subject area (e.g., Military benefits).
+ Determines the nature of the inquiry to provide accurate and concise answers.
+ Provides information requested or refers the client to appropriate military or community resources.
+ Provides prompt and empathetic communication with the customer via phone, and email.
