Job Description
Responsibilities
- Preparation and submission of PAYE returns
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Completion of tax returns
- Regular communication with clients (telephonic and email)
- Preparation of annual financial statements and working paper files
- Forecasting
Qualifications and Experience
- English; high level of competency verbal and written
- 5 years experience in bookkeeping, with strong financial acumen and understanding
- Experience in a similar position is a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of accounting principles and VAT
- Understanding of e-filing
- Working knowledge of Pastel Evolution
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel intermediate level) and Pastel is essential
