Junior Driver Trainer
SOUTHLAND is currently seeking experienced Class 1S or 2S drivers who are looking for the next step in their driving career! The Junior Driver Trainer is responsible for the effective training of new employees and the continued education of current drivers. In-house training is provided as per the programs, policies and guidelines of SOUTHLAND’s Training Department. This position requires an ability to communicate well with tact and diplomacy in confidential matters.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Class 1 or 2 driver's license, “S” endorsed for a minimum three (3) years
- Knowledge of Highway Traffic Act and emergency procedures
- Class 1S or 2S certified and able to pass the trainer certification with the Ministry of Transportation
- Clean 10-year commercial driver's abstract
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
