The post is appointed to provide structured training and supervised clinical development in ophthalmology, while contributing to service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice to ophthalmology colleagues regarding glaucoma cases.
- Participate in the management of glaucoma emergencies as they arise.
- Contribute to glaucoma teaching for postgraduates, undergraduates and non‑medical staff.
- Participate in the on‑call rota.
- Attend ward/casualty referrals from both the Eye Unit and the General Hospital.
