Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for Junior Hydro-Geologist . The purpose of this role is to implement the hydrogeological functions to aid the operations with water management, mine dewatering, stormwater monitoring, contractor management and ad hoc services.
This role is in Discovery & Geosciences (GEO) department on a Band 7 (C5) level, reporting to the Specialist Hydrogeologist (Sishen & Kolomela).
Job Description
- Consistently apply safety and health principles in all team interactions and take personal responsibility for the safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities.
- Collect, capture, monitor, and report data related to dewatering infrastructure inspections. • Supervise and manage drilling and testing contractors by conducting SHEQ checks, logging drill chips, preparing drill sites, tracking budgets, and processing invoices.
