Newtown Savings Bank is seeking a results-oriented, bilingual (fluent English and Spanish required) sales professional with ties to the Bridgeport market for the role of Junior Mortgage Banker. The candidate selected for the role will enter our Mortgage Banker Training Program.
The Mortgage Banker Training Program is designed to expose the Trainee to Bank policies/procedures, mortgage regulations, and sales techniques to become a strong Mortgage Banker. Once the skills of the training program have been satisfied the trainee will be expected to build a referral base by networking with key players within the real estate and mortgage industry.
The training program is approximately 12 months in duration depending upon the accumulated knowledge and measurable readiness of the participant to take on added responsibilities. The program provides a combination of self-study, on t...
