Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without supervision.
- Act as the designated deputy to the Ward Manager.
- Teach and supervise junior and unqualified staff and maintain a learning environment.
- Work well under pressure in a very busy area, caring for older people who are often frail and general medical patients including those with endocrine conditions.
- Work as part of a team and perform well as an individual, delivering high quality care.
