Our client, a specialist underwriting business within the Motor Industry , is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Underwriter to join their growing team in Roodepoort. This role is well suited to a candidate looking to build a long-term career in underwriting within a specialised automotive environment.
The successful candidate will support senior underwriters with risk assessment, policy administration, and client servicing while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal underwriting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with underwriting of motor-related risks in line with company guidelines
- Evaluate and analyse new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
- Accurately capture and maintain policy data on underwriting systems
