- Create, build and maintain profitable and strategic relationships with key account customers.
- Actively identify and pursue potential business.
- Develop and implement account strategies that deliver on the objectives.
- Ensure that sales and margin targets set for the account manager are achieved on both an individual and team basis.
- Ensure that all task performed are done within required time, accurate and as soon as possible.
- Perform marketing co-ordination functions.
- Ensure the retention of current markets and customers.
- Identify where costs savings can be implemented.

- Understand the manufacturing environment and requirements
- Minimum NQF Level 5, minimum 120 credits equate to a National Certificate or Higher Certificate
